You might know this already ( I was looking through your vintage photos :), but this is actually a maiko. She still has hana-kanzashi and the long sleeves of an apprentice. If she were a geiko/geisha, she would be wearing a wig and a shorter-sleeved kimono. The wikipedia page on geisha is not very accurate, I'm afraid. It's true that maiko often wear okobo, but they do not always wear them.
